First, let me thank Tiger (aka Alan, aka QB1) and Foldem (Peter Secor)
for doing such an excellent job of keeping track of the bust-out order
so that we could compute the best overall prize. (Actually, Tiger had
so much fun, getting to see every big confrontation, that I should
have charged him to do it! :-). I will just give the top twenty in
each event, although it's no disgrace to bust out early --- it happens
to the best of 'em.

* We had four unfilled seats in the stud tournament, but there was
plenty of interest from the local players to get in. The current
rules would not allow us to block them. I didn't mind too much that
they got in -- they were all willing to contribute the extra $5 for
the overhead. Although two of them (as marked) did manage to get
into the money, the amount they took out of the prize pool was just
slightly less than the amount they put in (as a group), so we
basically broke even. Nevertheless, I hope we can keep ATLARGE as a
pure r.g event next year.

As is immediately apparent, by any imaginable algorithm JP Massar was
the winner of the best all-around trophy (having to lug *three*
trophies and two hats back to Boston in addition to all that prize
money :-). Maybe we'll have to start calling him JP "The Master" Massar!

[BTW - I will post an abbreviated version of this to r.g.p, but my
posts seem to take forever.]
