Hmmmm?!! I've got to be in Silver Springs, MD for a conference
Tuesday (opening/plenary session is at 8:30AM) thru Thursday of next
week. I wonder if I can play in FW's NL Hold'em event on Monday
night (starts at 6:30PM I think) and still make it (driving) in time
the next morning. If I thought a "sleep deprivation factor" would
come into play during the conference I might try it :)

Subject: Flash -- Macanudo Results
I will post a trip report to r.g.p. tomorrow after I get some sleep,
but I just can't wait to brag about my finish at the final Macanudo
tournament tonight at Resorts to my ATLARGE buddies. This was a
$300+35 buy-in stud tournament with $10,000 added by the Macanudo
Cigar Company (a nice overlay). It was full (of course) with 80
players, so the top prize was $14,280.
And the winner was ---- Jazbo!
After subtracting the buy-in, tips, and the 10% that JimS and I
traded, I cleared $12,000. Of course, Uncle Sams will get 1/3 of
that, but it's still not a bad night's work. Guess I'll have to go to
Foxwoods ...
