I don't know about MARGE, but BARGE '97 is waaaaaaaaaaaay out there in next
August! The 1997 WSoP is out there a bit too. So is TARGET '97 (Ken Kubey
hasn't even made a peep about it yet). But now Jazbo has announced some
preliminary info on ATLARGE '97 (scheduled for March 21-23). I might just as
well post this now, before the winter holidays, and then let things percolate
a bit into next year.
Who: R.G.P'ers who wanna play some NL Hold'em, garner some "braggin'
rights", go to LV for TARGET & the WSoP, and have some fun.
What: MATS'97.
A "satellite to a satellite to a satellite to the 1997 WSoP $10K NL
Hold'em event". The winner receives a paid entry for TARGET '97, plus
travel to LV and hotel expenses (depends upon how you travel and
where you stay!).
Unless the response/demand is *overwhelming*, MATS'97 will again be a
1-table satellite, limited to ~ 10 players.
When: Held in conjunction with ATLARGE '97 (exact day/time TBD).
Where: AC.
How: (to get involved) Get in touch with me if you're interested. I'll
start a list of "interested folks".
(much will it cost) Probably the same as last year; $60 buy-in plus
(perhaps; depends upon where we play) an entry fee (TBD).
Misc: I'm hoping not to have to pray^H^H^Hlay in my hotel room again :)

No "Mike Caro 4-color" decks this year, in order that Bruce Kramer
doesn't get confused by the "green clubs" :)
