I think I've checked the page pretty carefully, but if you notice a glitch,
please let me know about it.
The final issue has been decided -- we'll have an Italian Banquet on
Saturday evening. The $30 price includes all tax and tips. Though
it might seem a bit high, it's in line with other arranged hotel
meals (I've done quite a few professional conferences in my time).
It would have been nice to have a served meal, but to keep the price
reasonable we would have had a choice between chicken and chicken :-).
The complete menu is given on the .../atlgoff.html web page.
I think everyone will find something they like.
Note that the banquet does not include alcoholic beverages. We can get
house wine at $20/bottle=5 glasses, but I didn't want to stick everyone
with the expense. If you really want wine, let me know and we can
probably get a few bottles --- only those paying the extra tab should
indulge. I've looked into getting a cash bar, but the overhead seems
to be ridiculous. I'm working on it.
Note: Early registration is strongly encouraged. I'm expecting up
to about 100 people, but if I'm way off, I need to know *early*.
Also, remember that you're not official registered until I get
your check, and tournaments seats will be given out first-come,
first served. (If things seem to be filling, I will make an
announcement here.)
Sorry for any typos above -- I'm on a dumb terminal at the moment.
More information will be sent tonight, but you should be able
to get most of your questions answered on the web pages.
