As last year, we will have several sessions of "our" pot limit hold'em
game. This is the game with a $100 buy-in, blinds of $1 and $2, and
an opening bet of $5 (no more, no less). After someone opens, the
next bet can be a call or a raise of up to a total of $20. Basically,
except for the opening bet, standard pot limit rules apply, but all
bet limits are rounded up to the next even $5 (so both blinds together
count as $5). [I'll publish more a detailed explanation on the web
page and provide handouts at the event for those who don't have much
pot limit experience.]

Last year, we introduced pot limit to Resorts. In the last twelve
months, a regular game has developed on Friday and Saturday nights.
This is a much bigger game (although the buy-in is only $100).
You can recognize this game because it used three blinds of $1, $2,
and $5 (or $2 and $5 if short-handed). The opening raise is variable
from $5 to $25.

It's likely (especially with the Friday Resorts P/L tournament), that
there will be an active P/L ring game going during the weekend with
the larger structure. You're welcome to play in the game, but should
be aware that many of the local players are becoming (or always were)
pretty strong players.

If you would prefer to play in the smaller structure (and mostly with
rec.gamblers) see me to sign up. I'll be carrying around sign-up
sheets at the BJ/Craps event and the reception for two proposed
starting times:
8:00 PM Friday (right after the reception)
9:00 PM Saturday (after the banquet)
Once the game starts, anyone can get on the list (we can't close the
game), but we should be able to start the games with our own group.
Last year we had two tables full for quite a while.
